Ryan Barba is the VP of Business Development for our Pacific Northwest region. He joined the SVP, now Mission Pet Health, team in March 2025.

Previously the Senior Director of Client Experience and Innovation at VCA Animal Hospitals, Ryan brings extensive knowledge of the veterinary industry, hospital operations, and growth strategy. He has a deep passion for equipping animal hospitals to better serve clients, improve their operations, support their teams, and improve pet medical outcomes. Prior to VCA, Ryan worked as a corporate strategy and management consultant for such firms as Forrester Research and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he grew consulting teams and advised clients on growth strategy, M&A, customer experience, and marketing.

Ryan received his BS in Biology and Management from Assumption University in 2006, and his MBA from Cornell University in 2011.

Outside work, Ryan loves his life in Los Angeles with his wife, Natalie. He is an avid beach volleyball player, enjoys CrossFit workouts, and loves to travel and cook. He is also very active in his local community and finds fulfillment mentoring high school youth and MBA candidates. Ryan is originally from Boston and remains a committed Boston sports fan.
