Livewell is Mission Pet Health’s startup hospital model—where veterinarians lead neighborhood practices backed by a national network. Each hospital is distinctive, built to reflect its local community and Founding DVM’s vision.
What does it mean to be a Founding Lead DVM?
It means you set the vision, culture, and medical standards for your hospital—while we handle the business operations, real estate, and support you need to succeed.
Do I need to invest financially to become a Founding Lead?
No. There’s no personal financial investment or buy-in required. You lead the hospital; we fund and support it.
What kind of support will I receive?
You’ll have a full team behind you—covering operations, HR, marketing, recruiting, finance, and real estate. You’ll also be paired with a dedicated DVM mentor for leadership guidance.
What does career growth look like?
Livewell offers CE allowances, leadership training, and opportunities to open or mentor at additional hospitals as your career grows. Livewell also provides development opportunities for hospital teammates to ensure your team is practicing at the top of their licenses, elevating their leadership and contributing to the success of your hospital.
